The problem of wetland protectionis being paid more and moreattention to. Although government departments have made a great many tries ,yet there were not so many preferable effects. This paper tries to analyse the wetland protection status and existing problemsin Changzhou from the aspects of the urban ecological security and promotion of the urban ecological grade . In addition,the ways of the wetland protection and the construction are explored in the paper in order to achieve the goal ofthe sustainable utilization of the wetland resources, and at the sametime to provide possible ideas for the same type of urban wetland protection and construction .
