Giving children "Lucky Money" in the spring Festival is one of old Chinese customs,but with the improvement of living standard,the meaning of "Lucky Money" has changed greatly.There is a question?Why Chinese will give the Lucky Money to the child?The first reason is Lucky Money with a comparison that it will bring the lucky or the best wishes to children in the future of this year.However,as the society improvement,the contemporary suggest using SMS instead of the traditional Lucky Money.In their opinions,SMS is more convenience and economy than the Lucky Money.In deed,that is a discussible topic.SMS widely use in the modern society,for example people will choose to send the e-mail to instead of the land mail,will choose chat on line to instead of using the cell phone to make a conversation with others.Even people can buy anything from the shop in the internet.All of that make our living more convenience than before.So,a few people suggest using SMS to instead of the Lucy Money.Contrarily,science also make us lazy than before.Because people can stay at home to do anything,include go to work,and have a dinner,and buy some commodity.
The second reason is if people change the old custom at random,maybe,all people and their friends with a poor relationship at the end.In now China,most adult is busy so that they haven’t enough time to visit their pal even their parent and their relation.Therefore,several Festival become a reason let them invite their friend come to their home.The other sides,adults visit each other in the spring Festival also is a custom in China.But if people send SMS instead of the Lucky Money in the spring Festival become true,the adult visited each other chance will decrease.What a terrible thing!
So,in my opinions,send SMS to instead of the Lucky Money is unacceptable.
