Purpose
To stop illegal parking in a private parking area,where the only gate barrier – used for both entry and exit – is often vandalized.At present,the tenants of the building are issued access cards to gain entry into the parking lot.Exiting is automatic.
The two tiger teeth units will be integrated with the existing access control system,i.e.,when the tenant presses his/her remote control transmitter,the tiger teeth will bury itself,so as not to damage the tires of the authorized car after passing the barrier.The gate barrier will operate simultaneously with the tiger teeth.If the gate barrier is vandalized or forced open,the tiger teeth should not operate,keeping its teeth on the up position,so that if the unauthorized car decides to get into the parking lot,the tires of the car will be damaged.
When exiting the parking lot,the authorized driver again presses his/her remote control transmitter to operate both the tiger teeth and the gate barrier,i.e.,while the barrier goes up,the tiger teeth automatically buries itself to avoid damaging the tires of the authorized car.
