my view on marriage
As the society becomes more liberal,cohabitation seems to overtake marriage as the preferred form of a relationship.However,in my opinion marriage is still important in today's society as it has many social functions.
Marriage is an important legal contract between a couple.It provides legal protections to a relatioinship.
Marriage is an essential tool for the government to track and control the sexual reproduction of its citizens.
Marriage also gives recognition to the relationship hence showing the commitment of the couple to stay with each other.
As such,marriage is neccessary in the formation of the valuable social institution-family.
