雖然我不是這個專業(yè)的,但是學過工程力學,當然啦很入門的一個學科,不過再加上仔細研究,還是能夠翻譯出來的.
材料力學作為應用力學的一個分支,研究的是固體在受到各種外部力或力矩作用時的反應（此處roading拼錯,應為loading）.對這方面的研究曾經(jīng)有多種命名方法,包括“材料強度”和“可變形體力學”.本書內(nèi)所研究的固體包括：受軸向應力以及軸向力矩（此處rorsion應該為torsion）的薄殼、梁和圓柱體,以及這些物體對外界力和力矩的反應.一般來講外界的力和力矩來自于負載.如果我們能夠得出可能造成破壞的負載的具體數(shù)值,那么就可以很好的保證物體在外加負載下不受損.
