Last month Harbin cut off its water supply for four days because of pollution fear in Songhua River,which is Harbin’s main water souce.The pollution resulted from a chemical plant blast.Schools had to be closed for a week.People were pouring into supermarkets to buy large quantities of bottled water and drinks.
The water crisis again shows the inportance of protecting environment.We have only one earth.As a matter of fact,environmental problem is now regional,national and global,so its our duty to make every effort to live in harmony with nathure,otherwise we may be punished by nature.
