A 用some,any和no構(gòu)成的復(fù)合詞都遵循上文所述規(guī)則：
Someone wants to speak to you on the phone．
有你的電話.
Someone/Somebody gave me a ticket for the pop concert．
有人給了我一張流行歌曲音樂會的門票.
No one/Nobody has ever given me a free ticket for anything．
從來沒有人給過我免費的什么票.
Do you want anything from the chemist’s?
你需要在藥店里買什么東西嗎?
Would anyone/anybody like a drink?
誰想喝一杯嗎?
注意：
I drink anything．
我喝什么都行.相當(dāng)于：
I don’t mind what I drink．
我不挑喝什么.
Anyone will tell you where the house is．
誰都會告訴你那所房子在哪兒.（參見第50節(jié)C.）
B someone,somebody,anyone,anybody,no one,nobody可以有所有格形式：
Someone’s passport has been stolen．
有人的護照被偷了.
Is this somebody’s/anybody’s seat?
這座位有人坐嗎?
I don’t want to waste anyone’s time．
我不想浪費任何人的時間.
C 代詞和所有格形容詞與someone,somebody,anyone,anybody,no one,nobody,everyone,everybody連用
所有這些詞語都具有單數(shù)的含義,因此要用單數(shù)動詞.因此,指代這些詞的人稱代詞和所有格形容詞按道理說也應(yīng)是he/she,him/her,his/her,但在口語中復(fù)數(shù)形式更為普遍：
Has anyone left their luggage on the train?
有誰把行李丟在火車上了嗎?
No one saw Tom go out,did they?
沒有人看見湯姆出去,對嗎?
但在指something,anything,nothing時仍然用it：
Something went wrong,didn’t it?
有什么地方出毛病了,是嗎?
