Our dog Zip is always bringing things home for us to keep!
我們的狗zip總是會(huì)帶東西回家
Many of them were bears,lambs and ducks.
這其中有熊,羊羔和鴨子等等
We could never find the owners.
我們都找不到這些的主人
One day Dad was reading the paper,"Listen to this,everybody," he said.
有一天爸爸在讀報(bào)紙,“每個(gè)人都聽(tīng)我說(shuō)”,他說(shuō)
"To the person who took a Teddy bear from a child's wagon-please bring back the toy bear.Our two-year-old son s very sad."
"致一個(gè)從孩子的小車(chē)?yán)锬米咭粋€(gè)泰迪熊的人--請(qǐng)把玩具熊送回來(lái),我們兩歲的兒子非常傷心"
"Zip has been sorry again,"sad Anita.
"zip又做錯(cuò)事了"安妮塔說(shuō)
"Yes,"sad Dad."Well,the paper gives the address.This time I can take back Zip's name.
爸爸說(shuō)：“時(shí)的,報(bào)紙上給出了地址,這次我們可以挽回zip的名聲”
"Do you think t clever to do that?"Mom asked."If you tell about Zip,who will believe you?"
媽媽說(shuō)：“你覺(jué)得這么做明智嗎?如果你說(shuō)是zip做的,誰(shuí)會(huì)相信你?”
"I will wait until dark.Then I'll just put the Teddy bear at the front door and walk away.No one will see me."
“我會(huì)等到天黑,然后把泰迪熊放在前門(mén),之后悄悄走掉,沒(méi)有人會(huì)看見(jiàn)我”
Dad's idea almost worked.He put Teddy at the gate.He turned to walk away and knocked into a chair!
爸爸的想法差一點(diǎn)就成功了.他把泰迪熊放在了前門(mén).轉(zhuǎn)身準(zhǔn)備走掉的時(shí)候撞上了一個(gè)椅子
Dad started to run.But he didn't get very far.The gate lights came on.A man threw open the door."What is going on here?"he called out.
爸爸開(kāi)始跑.但是沒(méi)有跑很遠(yuǎn).門(mén)前的燈亮了,一個(gè)人推開(kāi)了門(mén).大喊著：“發(fā)生了什么事?”

Mr Baker worked in a small town .Two weeks ago his friends helped him to find work in New York .So he and his wife were going to move to a buiding in the big city.Mr Baker wanted to live in a room on the first floor and he could go for a walk by the beautiful garden after supper .But his wife hoped to live on the second floor .
Baker先生在一個(gè)小鎮(zhèn)上工作.兩周前他的朋友幫他在紐約找了一份工作.所以他和他的妻子準(zhǔn)備搬到紐約.Baker想要注意個(gè)在一層的房子,那樣他就可以在晚飯后在漂亮的花園里散步了.但是他的妻子想要住到第二層
"There is enough sunlight 陽(yáng)光),I think .And we can watch the flowers in the garden by the windows ,"said the woman .
“我認(rèn)為二層會(huì)有充足的陽(yáng)光,而且我們可以在陽(yáng)臺(tái)上看見(jiàn)花園里的花”女人說(shuō)
Mr Baker thought she was right and agreed with her .
Baker先生覺(jué)得她是對(duì)的,同意了她的想法
It was Saturday .All their friends came to help them.They were tired but still held a party ,Mr Baker got nice food ready .They ate ,drank a lot .Then they sang and danced .It lasted a long time .
在一個(gè)周六,他們所有的朋友都來(lái)幫助他們.他們都累壞了,但還是舉行了一個(gè)party.Baker先生準(zhǔn)備了很多好吃的,他們吃了很多,喝了也很多.之后他們唱歌跳舞.整個(gè)活動(dòng)持續(xù)了很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間
Suddenly the telephone rang ,Mr Baker went to answer it .Then he said to her husband proudly 自豪地) "Luckily you have listened to me !The man downstairs complained on the telephone that the noise in our rooms makes them not fall asleep !"
突然電話響了,Baker夫人接了電話.之后她自豪的對(duì)她的丈夫說(shuō)：“很幸運(yùn)的是你聽(tīng)了我的話.樓下的人在電話里說(shuō)我們屋里的動(dòng)靜吵到了他們睡覺(jué)”
