China should not develop tourism
In my point of view,China,as a developing country,should not develop tourism,since such excessive development is not healthy.
First of all,although fast developing tourism can bring great economic income,it,for the most circumstance,is compromising the completeness and beauties of the nature to the GDP growth.In order to well done such mission impossible,local governments devote every effort to explore every inch of their lands so as to attract the sightseers,which eventually cause the pollution of the surroundings and the overdevelopment of the environment.
Secondly,we can’t deny that China is still a developing country,which means even though we have great spots to develop tourism,we are lack of efficient management for those unique yet fragile natural landscapes.Take Yellow Stone as an example.Without a reasonable and advanced management can Yellow Stone be the most attractive national park for the tourists all over the world.Such advanced management not only maintains its charming,but also make the sustainable development of Yellow Stone be realizable.However,from the stage of China nowadays,it is far away from possible,since we are lingering in the dilemma of balancing the local economic income with macro-control from the central government.
The last but not least,I want to reaffirm that China,as a development country,should not develop tourism,or say,should not make a high and excessive development on tourism,since in some aspects,such great economic income would bring great risks,too,such as polarization of rich and poor,deceptive bargaining on tour zones,collusion between officials and merchants,and so on.
