Interest Is the Best Teacher
i was not able to get high marks when i was in primary school. teachers didn't like me because i was not a good student. mother considered me as a bad kid. they hurt me by thinking i am a retarded child. but i am no fool.
　　almost all of my paintings were showed in public. many famous artists had praised me for my paintings. they called me "little prodigy". and dad was on my side too. he encouraged me to do what i liked and what i thought was proper.
　　he told me that interest is the best teacher, dad did what he could to develop my talent fully. i believe that interest together with hard work will make me a successful artist in the near future.

there is a saying says"interest is the best teacher". it also means that you will learn better if you are interested in it. it's a matter of fact. i will give you my opinions in the following .
let's have a clear definition of interest. what is interest? interest means hobby. life will be boring and dreary if one lives a life without any hobby. hardly anyone is a man without any interest. for instance, some ones like singing, some like painting, some like playing games, some like handwriting ,etc. no matter what his hobby is ,he must devote himself into this field because he likes it.
for example , i was very interested in hard nib calligraphy when i was a teenager. my idlo was PangZhonghua at that time. i admired his handwriting very much and i regarded his works as works of arts. i began my trainning of hard nib calligraphy . i was so addicted in it that i was not willing to do other things even though it's time for meals or go to bed. owing to my interest and hard training, my hard nib calligraphy made a great process after a period of time. from then, our teachers began let me help them write some articles. i was one of the three best students on hard nib calligraphy before i graduated from my senior high school.
when i was at grade six, i was not good at english especially on grammar, i often felt shamed while my english teacher asked me to answer some questions about grammer. once by accident, i got an english grammar book form my sister. i read some lines and found it was so easy with a bit of funs and techniques in it. then i read the grammar book as long as i was free. some weeks later, my english was improved to be the No.2 of our class and among the top three in our school.
there is another example of my own. it's no need to detail it here.. in a whole, if you have a interest on something, do it and persist it to the end until you succeed in it.

These days,ihave been keeping on reading articles from New Concept English.It's a nice way to send your voice into our space,you can enjoy your own voice when you are free, another advantage is you can compare thevoice you read now and before , you can feel your progress according to the voice record.When you read another article, you have tried to adjust the pronunciation and tone of some words and sentences you think you can't read well before.
Afterihave nearly finished reading the texts N0.2 New Concept English, I felt it's not enoughtobe only satisfied with correct pronunciation, i hope to have an active expression and different speeds, different characters should use different tones.When you give yourself a higher standard,sometimes you have to read many times,but i dont feel boring and tired to read the articleas usual.It seems i am correcting my works.If you read these articles with such attitude,don't you think you will be able tospeak English better and better very soon?
I have read the first three articles of No.3 New Concept English today,I feel the article is longer and harder than No.2., but i will keep on reading the resttexts inthe following days.I have the confidence i can read and learn these articles better than No.2.If you hope to speak English well, then open your mouth as much as possible!
