There Is No End to Learning
Aa soon as I was enrolled in college I reit a big burden off my mind. So did my classmates. We just wanted to relax. But at our first English Lesson on how to improve our study the teacher told us," There is no end to learning. You can only become a top student with additional work." And she says hard work is rewarding.
The teacher’s words awakened me. In fact everyone in the world is always learning. Man’s talents are like wild plants. They need cutting and pruning with the tool of learning, We lears not only inside the classroom but also outside the classroom. Learning is a process in which man adapts to his snrroundings. It is driven by man’s desire to win respect and to contribute to society. It is the curiosity for knowledge stimulated by knowledge itself." To learn is to be young. Not to learn is to die." This saying applies to every society and to all ages.
Indeed, everyone living on earth is learning all the time. Man learns not only from books but also from his own experience We can not hope that as long as we learn we will gain benlfits. Efficient study is inseparable from good methods and motivation, A man of a strong sense of responsibility and full of ambition is insatiable in learning.
I entered the university after much efforts. I know it is only the first step on the road leading to the sea of knowledge. It is but the first page in the book of science. The further away ! am off shore, the more far-sighted! will be. The more you learn. the more you feel the need to learn. Art is long, life is short.
學(xué)無止境
一進(jìn)大學(xué),我感到思想上卸了一個(gè)包袱,就像我們的同班同學(xué)一樣,大家都想放松一下.可在如何提高學(xué)習(xí)水平的笫1堂英語課上,老師就對(duì)我們說：“學(xué)無止境.只有通過努力才能成為優(yōu)等生.”同時(shí)還說努力學(xué)習(xí)是會(huì)有報(bào)償?shù)?
老師的話喚醒了我.事實(shí)上,世上每一個(gè)人都在學(xué)習(xí).人的才能如野生植物,需要用學(xué)習(xí)這把工具予以修剪.我們不僅在課堂上學(xué),而且還要在課外學(xué).學(xué)習(xí)就是不斷適應(yīng)環(huán)境的過程.學(xué)習(xí)受“人要贏得尊重,就得對(duì)社會(huì)做貢獻(xiàn)”的欲望所驅(qū)使.學(xué)習(xí)就是知識(shí)本身所引起的對(duì)知識(shí)的好奇.“學(xué)習(xí)使人年輕,不學(xué)習(xí)等于死亡.”這句話造用于任何社會(huì)、任何時(shí)代.
確實(shí),世人無時(shí)不在學(xué)習(xí).人不僅從書本上學(xué),而且在經(jīng)驗(yàn)中學(xué).我們不能指望只要學(xué)習(xí)就必有所獲.有效的學(xué)習(xí)是與好的方法與動(dòng)機(jī)分不開的.責(zé)任心強(qiáng)且有抱負(fù)的人會(huì)學(xué)而不厭.
經(jīng)過努力,我進(jìn)了大學(xué),但我知道,這只是通往知識(shí)海洋上的第一步,只是科學(xué)這本書中的第l頁.離岸越遠(yuǎn),視野越寬.越學(xué)越想學(xué).生命短暫,藝術(shù)無涯.
