According to the National Bureau of Statistics show that China's Gini coefficient preponderated over the international warning line of 0.4 in 2000.At the same time,the people's income gap is widening rapidly.In 2006,the Gini coefficient reached 0.46.The number from Statistical Yearbook of China shows that in 2005,Chinese urban and rural households per capita’s disposable income is 10,493 yuan and 3254.9 yuan respectively,which means income in urban areas is over 3.22 times more than rural areas.
In 2006,the highest per capita disposable income urban area of China is Shanghai,where the number reached 20,668 yuan.In the same period ,the lowest disposable income of the rural residents in Shanxi is 3424 yuan ,which is one-sixth of the average number in Shanghai.The gap between rich and poor brings the potential risks to the society’s development and influences the society’s harmony.What’s makes the increasing the gap between rich and poor?My opinions are as follows.
