    Heart disease is the No.1 killer in the USA and many other countries,as a result,the technologies used to diagnosis heart disease expanded rapidly in the past 30 years,from the traditional x-ray and ultrasound imaging technologies,to the three dimensional real time cardiac mapping technology.
    The most well-known cardiac mapping technologies are EnSite system,CARTO XP system and NOGA XP system.EnSite system detects the variation in strength of electrical field to determine the location and electrical cardiac activities to produce the activities map,while CARTO XP system detects the variation in strength of magnetic field.These two systems are the most commonly used cardiac mapping technologies,CARTO system is more popular because the strength of magnetic filed detected is not affected by cardiac and respiratory motion.
    NOGA XP system is developed on the basis of CARTO XP system,it produces local linear shorting (LLS) map to show myocardium mechanical function as well as voltage map to show the electrical activity.NOGA XP system creates highly precise,three-dimensional maps,enable both the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.At last,the design of NOGA simulator is conducted with framework being constructed.
