做及物動詞時：
each other ＝互相
通常都置于動詞之后.
如：互相幫助＝to help each other
Both girls write to each other regularly now.
兩位女孩頻頻互通書信.
The porter and I looked at each other.
搬運工人（或門衛(wèi)）和我相互對眼.
做不及物動詞時：
在使用“each other”這個副詞詞組的時候可以不加賓語.
如以下兩個簡單例句（若不使用each other的時候,賓語就不能少了）：
They embraced each other.他們互相擁抱.
They hate each other.他們彼此憎恨.
