I just wanted to make a topic for people to share their views on the technology we gain throughout history.Do you think our gaining more technology is bad or do you think that the more technology we have the better we're off?
I'm,personally,stuck between the two (although I'm more on the "technology is bad" side).With the more technology we gain the more we will drive ourselves mad with greed,pride,envy,and all of the other 7 deadly sins.Someone who finds a medical treatment that can cure cancer will become greedy,and overcharge people just to save their lives.Kind of like doctors now a days.They overcharge people for medical treatments that the patient needs in order to survive.And people who become power crazed and want to take over the world with weapons of mass destruction.
I think the world should be where everyone is helping each other to survive.Everyone helping out with whatever it is that they do best.Not charging people for their services,but knowing that the person will repay them with whatever there "best" ability (or talent) is in need.It's hard to see all of the poverty,death,starvation,and war.If the world could just overcome all of this and live together as civilized people I think we would be better off.But how could any of us change the world?We are just one,single person on this Earth.I think technology is somewhat to blaim for these things.
But as I said,I'm also for technology.We have found medician that can cure a lot of illnesses.We are able to explore the unknown.We have faster transportation to get around with.
