The research topic of this paper is the diversified development trend of city sport architectures; it conducts a basic analysis on the present situation and the trend emerging from the course of development in modern sport architectures, and by applying the analytical and inductive method, it proposes the overall development trend of sport architectures in terms of specificity, popularization and integration. In such a pluralistic era, we should realize that the traditional type of sport architectures is no longer able to completely fulfill the functional and aesthetic demands of the people.
