The Importance of Learning English
English is not just a lesson.We learn English because it is useful to us.When we want to communicate with a foreigner,we shall probably speak English.Becasue English covers a very wide area,and it is a global language.If we can's speak English,it will be hard for us to step out of our country.
The technology of China is not very developed comparing to America and many other countries.So if we want to learn others' technics,we have to read their relevant materials which are probably written in English.If we don't know much about English,we shall not make fast progress.
However,most of the students find it difficult to learn English well.Because remembering words is really a hard job for them.In my opinion,you should treat it as a tool for communication instead of a course like math or physics.We should speak it more to others,thus improving our ability of speaking.
In a word,English is very important to us without which we will be dumb people who can speak.
