兩邊平方得：

即x-2+1/x=4
∴x+(1/x)=6
再次平方得：
[x+(1/x)]²=36
∴x²+2+1/x²=36
∴x²+1/x²=34

=√(x²+1/x²)+14
=√34+14
=√48
=4√3
