樓主對倍數(shù)句型不太明白：
倍數(shù)詞(twice) + as + 形容詞原級(much) + 名詞(rain) + as ...
即形容詞much是修飾名詞rain的,不能把rain放到much前面去.
再如：I earn twice as much money as you.我賺你兩倍多的錢.

這里think of的賓語不是getting enough money,而是先行詞the way；
而to get enough money是the way的后置定語,構(gòu)成固定短語：the way to do sth = the way of doing sth “做某事的方法”.
