如題 Despite our shared interest in jazz,Cindy and I had little in common.I found her to be overly interested in money and status.Perhaps her economic situation prompted her request for five dollars a night,but I found it extremely stingy,especially after I arrived with freshly ground coffee,breakfast muffins and treated her to dinner twice,which totaled over $75.00.
I try to lead by example.that it would quiet her need to be so greedy.But,even when she offered to use a $20 coupon at the restaurant on the 2nd night,instead of splitting the discounted bill,she insisted that the coupon be used only to pay for her meal,which was actually $25!Oh,and I paid the lion's share of the tip,too!
