I think all important discoveries are the results of focusing on one subject.To find a truth or invent something needs a person to be hard-working、patience、and accumulate enough knowledge.Even the discoveries that seem to be discovered by fortune are also the results of concentration.Only when a person knows the knowledge about the aspect can he or she be lucky enough to find it.Truth is prepared for the one who is focusing on it.Throughout history,many famous people set the examples of the importance of concentration.
Thomas Edition,the famous inventor in America,invented over a thousand things during his life.The light bulb was brought out by him to light up the whole world.However,brfore it was invented,he had tried over a thousand experiments.Locking himself in the small lab,he spent all his day searching for the proper materials for the bulb.Failure followed him again and again,but he never gave up.Day by day,his concentration on his experiments finally earned him a great invention,and he has become"the father of invention"ever since.
Another example is LiShizhen,a famous Chinese medicine doctor in ancient China.His medicine book is a monument in Chinese medicine.But few people will think of his hard time in finishing the book.He had spent over 40 years before it was finished.In order to explain every Chinese herbs properly and clearly,he went to the mountain every day to pick up some kinds of herbs to study.How much patience and concentration he needed!40 years is really a long time for a person,it means that he spent almost all his life concentrating on the Chinese medicine and finally made a great contribution to it.
Concentration is the fundamental element of success.All important discoveries are the results of concentration.Through the discovering period,you should pay all your attention to the problem.Then finally the discovery would come along to you.
