DO the advantags of private means of transportation such as cars and motorbikes outweight the disadvantages cmpared to public transport(trains buses and taxis)?Give reasons for your answer.
Indeed,private motor vehicles have some advantages.Compared with public transprt,it is more convinent and swifter for people to take private transport as they can avoid long waitting time and people can drive directly to the distination.Also,they are more comfortable than public ones.Specifically,air-conditioning and soft chair in private cars make people feel better comparing with crowding with people in a narrow room.
Hoever,the cost of maintaining private vehicles is high.Since the prive of petrol and car services gets higher,keeping cars or motobikes costs more than before.So,choosing public transport may save much moeny.Futher,as the number of private cars is increasing,traffic becomes busier and more congested.Therefore,taking private vehicles is likely to no longer faster than taking subway or air train.Besides,too many cars may lead to air pollution and much noise,which is negative to substantial environment development.
