Education is treated by countless people as the vital predictor of one’s success.Whether practical or theoretical courses should play a more essential role in educational system has been subject to wide discussion.In my view schooling should be designed to prepare students for real life as well as underlining the academic aspect.
The idea advocates that an upsurge in practical knowledge is more useful for students,owing to the fierce competition in employment market.Current employers show a tendency to recruit youngsters who are most likely to adapt to the changing environment,while the outstanding academic quantification is no longer a sufficient credential.In this case,aiming to deal with complex problems in real life situation,practical courses (i.e.computer) lay a solid foundation for students’ career development.
However,theory and abstract conceptual knowledge are essential lies in the fact that they are fundamentals of education.For instance,people would have a better understanding of the earth after having geography courses.For one thing,it largely enhances personal quality which is the basic requirement in modern civilization for each individual.For another thing,although it might not play a critical role in job hunting,the common sense provides a communication platform to foreigners and eases the interacting process as a talking material.Besides,large amount of inventions are created from theoretical ideas and boost social development in all-inclusive aspects.Aside from vocational-oriented schooling,theories that students learnt are the originals of creation.
On the basis of above factors,my conclusion is that practical courses or theoretical courses are of the same importance.Only by keeping balance of these two types of lessons can lead the students into a prospective future.

However,someone say that students need to learn theoretical courses such as geography and math.They may think that,in this way,students can have expanded horizons.Also,if they learn those subjects well,they tend to solve practical problem easily.
