We/I hereby request to enroll the above named student in Marianapolis Preparatory School for the 2011-2012 academic year and agree to pay $36,950.00 annual boarding tuition and $5,500.00 ESL fee (as applicable),as per schedule enclosed,plus any extra fees incurred.As required a $10,000.00 non-refundable resident deposit is enclosed.
It is agreed that:
1.The $10,000.00 resident student deposit which is required with this Enrollment Contract to hold the student’s place is non-refundable and will be applied against the payments required by either Paragraph 2(a),2(b) or 2(c).
2.Payment in full of the annual tuition will be made prior to start of school.
3.If at any time,in the opinion of the Head of School,the enrollment of the student shall be deemed detrimental to his/her health or progress or to other students,he/she may be dismissed.The student is also subject to disciplinary action,including suspension or dismissal for violation of school rules.
4.Unless written notice to the contrary is received in advance,the student shall be deemed to have permission to take part in any and all school activities on or off the campus and to ride in vehicles driven by Marianapolis Preparatory School faculty or staff members or parents or in vehicles chartered by Marianapolis Preparatory School.I hereby release Marianapolis Preparatory School,its Directors,faculty,staff,parents and students from liability (other than for gross negligence) for any injury to the person or property of the student by reason of his/her participation in such activities or riding in such vehicles.
5.Any payment made five (5) days after it becomes due and payable shall accrue interest at the rate of one point five percent (1.5%)
per month or eighteen per cent (18%) per annum.
I understand and agree that withdrawal or dismissal of the student will not release me from the obligation to pay any amounts owing under
this contract for the full year.
