The first main difference from college life and high school life is that you need to learn how to be independent. In college, most students will live on campus. However, a problem rise up that students are required to be independent. Their parents can no longer cook lunch or dinner for them. Their parents will no longer urge them to finish the homework. Their parents will not be around them and keep them away from computer games. Some students might be very happy because no one will keep an eye on them. They can do whatever they want. However, one thing you should know is that you are the one who will benefit from learning knowledge. You shouldn't skip any classes. You shouldn't addict to online games. But without your parents, you should learn how to be independent.
The second main difference is that you will learn how to get along with others. Because students will live on campus with their classmates, it's important to be kind and nice to others. No one wants to face with the person who is cold to others. Because students are sharing the same room with others, they can not be selfish. They should take care of the people who are sick, because they want to be taken care of when they are sick.
College is like a little society. That's the place students can practice and become more mature before they go into the real society. Learning how to be independent and not being selfish are the two major things one should learn in college.
