Perce Blackborow is a great sailor,a steward aboard the ship "Endurance" which left Antarctica,and is admired by people from all over the world.
Although he has met with several difficulties in Antarctica,he never gave up,a very inspirational act for many.One such man who benefitted under his guidance was Thomas Orde-Lees,a rather bad-tempered man.Despite his quick-tempered demeanour,Blackborow never got angry with him.Blackborow believed that it was a normal behaviour as they were all anxious,instead he tried his best to solve the problem,leading his crew calmly and ensuring that they all arrived home safely.
This proves to be a source of inspiration for us students as well.When we face obstacles in our course of studying,we should think of what Blackborow has accomplished and give our best,and never give up.
