The well salt production in Yunnan is one of the most important economic activities in ancient times, salt is only on the land tax of second categories of taxes in Yunnan, the problem of very long period of time is the first Yunnan salt production. This paper clear Qing period and the period of the Republic of China, the new China before, during the three stages of salt culture, make readers more clearly understand the historical change of understanding and well salt culture.
