would prefer 寧愿,更愿意要……,后接名詞或代詞,如：

2.Which flavor would you prefer,strawberry or vanilla?
您喜歡哪一種口味的,草莓味還是香草味?
would rather 寧愿做某事,后接省to的不定式,即動詞原形,如果有比較,就用than,即：would rather do ...than do...,如：
I'd rather stay here.
I'd rahter not say.
I'd rather die than go with you.
would rather 如果接句子,屬于虛擬語氣,從句一般用一般過去式,如：
I would rather you didn't go there alone.我寧愿你別自己去那兒.
prefer ...to ...：兩者比較更愿意要前者,后接名詞或代詞,如：
I prefer coffee to tea.和茶相比,我更愿意喝咖啡.
