Middle school students should be allowed to read newspapers and it should be encouraged as well.Newspapers provide a very wide range of vocabulary that students can use to build and upon and increase their writing composition as well.It's also very informative about what is occurring around us whether it is national or international and students should be well informed about what is happening around them.These sources of information can all be used to connect to education and students don't have to be restricted to textbooks.Reading newspapers can also be for recreational purposes and is enjoyed by people of all ages worldwide so students at a certain age should also attempt to understand advanced reading material.Therefore, I strongly believe that middle school students should be reading newspapers.
