during:expressing duration VS in:exact timeduring=over,from X to Y,throughoutin=specifies an exact "calendar" time,which may be as small as a moment or as large as a century所以說during是表示一個時期...是不是可以這樣講“這段時間里我去了許多地方” ，如果我話語內(nèi)容不想強調那段時間就用in,如果我話語想強調的就是在那段時間里，便用during。 求賜教。求引證。
　對，其實during就是強調“那段時間里”，表達的是how long；in是強調“那段時間”，表達的是exactly when
但是如果是BEFORE PHRASES OF DURATION就只能during
eg.We had a great time during our stay there
We had a great time in our stay there. (incorrect)
這里stay there是一段時間，前面就要用during
再比如We are on vacation in/during July(both ok)
The shop is closed in the whole month of July. (incorrect,use during instead)
這里july可以是特指六月也可以是那一個月的時光，但是the whole month of july 強調的是整個六月的時光。
