There is a car race near our town every year.In 1995,there was a very big race.
There were hundreds of people there.My wife and I were at the race.
Our friends Julie and Jack were there,too.You can see us in the crowd.We are
standing on the left.There were twenty cars in the race.There were English cars,
French cares,German cars.Italian cars.American cars and Japanese cars.
It was an exciting finish.The winner was Billy Stewart.He was in car number
fifteen.Five other cars were just behind him.
On the way home,my wife said to me,'Don't drive so quickly!You're not Billy Stewart!'
整篇課文感覺都是過去時(shí),但突然蹦出一句現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)“we are standing on the left”,這是問什么呀?
本來挺明白的，作者在向我們講1995年的一場汽車賽，我感覺現(xiàn)在不是1995年，是以前過去的事兒了，但突然出現(xiàn)的 You can see us in the crowd.We are standing on the left。這兩句把我給搞蒙了，難道說的是現(xiàn)在發(fā)生的事兒？不像啊
